Jimmy Lee Tillman, II, president of the Martin Luther King Republicans have appealed to President Donald Trump to enact his Black Community Restoration and Recovery Act; to come assess the damage and terror ANTIFA and others inflicted on Chicago’s Black community and its supply chain, and to join them at New Canaanland MBC for worship and to pray.

Martin Luther King Republicans invite Trump to church in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL The Martin Luther King Republicans (MLKR) feel that Chicago’s Black community is under attack by the terrorist group ANTIFA, Latin Kings, and other illegal Mexican gangs. This happened during and in the aftermath of the George Floyd riots. They have appealed to the Administration enact The Donald Trump Black Community Restoration and Recovery Act to assist in rebuilding after ANTIFA provided rioters bricks, spray paint, Molotov cocktails, and other destructive equipment that have decimated blocks after blocks. This damage has created food deserts, limited access to working ATMs, closed pharmacies and banks, limited postal, and other essential services. MLKR asks that the Justice Department send in ICE to protect Black American citizens who are being targeted by illegal immigrant gangs and cannot move freely throughout the city without fear of being pulled out of cars and beat up, stabbed, or even killed. They feel that the Department should investigate and prosecute those committing these acts as a hate crime. Rev. Pervis Thomas of New Canaanland Missionary Baptist Church, 5957 South Peoria, has extended an open invitation to President Trump to come and pray with his church for healing and restoration. New Canaanland MBC remained open and held services during the unconstitutional church closure and was at the forefront of the Re-Open Illinois Right to Worship campaign.

“We are thankful that the President understands that church is essential and in these turbulent times we invite him to bring his bible and come worship with us at New Canaanland.”, remarked Thomas.

“I know many in Black Chicago did not vote for you, Mr. President, but I did,” Tillman says, “Let show them that MAGA loves Black America.”

The Martin Luther King Republicans was founded in 2007 by Jimmy Lee Tillman, II, to offer a political alternative for voters in Illinois. Martin Luther King Republicans are a diverse group of conservatives, moderates, and liberal Black Republicans educating, recruiting and funding qualified candidates nationwide.
