House Club Tour Chicago returns with South-side Pub Crawl during Chicago House Music Festival and Conference

House Club Tour Chicago is back for the seventh year. The famous Southside pub crawl will take place Saturday, September 17, in conjunction with the City of Chicago’s House Music Festival and Conference. Thousands of participants will enjoy an evening bus tour of venues and worldwide DJs.

CHICAGO, IL House music lovers are excited about the return of the yellow school buses as the organizers of House Club Tour Chicago, LLC continues its Adult House Music Excursion for the seventh year. This showcase will highlight local small businesses striving in the post-pandemic economy and celebrate the sub-genres of House Music played throughout the City of Chicago. The producers will showcase 24 talented House DJs across eight venues and provide 20 rotating buses for transportation. The event is from 6 pm-midnight.

The buses will stop at well-known establishments on busy thoroughfares and some start-ups on up-and-coming blocks in redeveloped neighborhoods. Alderman Rod Sawyer, a house music lover, is a past sponsor of this event, says, “This is a great event, and the community has been looking forward to it. The south-side has venues and restaurants that are just as fine as those up North and Downtown.”

Over 2000 House Music lovers attended this exciting event in the past, and more are expected to enjoy the various sounds that include Afro House, Classic House, Chicago Old School, Down-Tempo Disco, Funk, Global House, Latin, Studio 54, Underground, and Vinyl.

Dana Divine is a veteran WGCI radio personality.
